About Chloe Russell

Chloe Russell teaches mindful movement and has joined as a yin yoga teacher at Indie Yoga

“Yoga has become the essence of my life, nurturing my every step toward my higher self. My yoga journey started late in 2013 when a burning desire grew within me to know more, spiritually. It was only in 2015, after travelling to Bali on a spiritual pilgrimage, that my practice transformed. I left feeling inspired and it was then that I knew for certain that I wanted to share this truly humbling practice. After a year, I began to deepen my self-practices, preparing myself mentally, physically and spiritually for the training I was about to embark on.

In 2016 I completed my 200 hour one-month intensive Teacher Training in Ashtanga Vinyasa with Yo Yoga (CPT) in Tofo Mozambique.  It was then that I started to develop discipline (tapas) within my self-practice, committing full time to learning more about this ancient tradition. In 2018 I completed my 100 hour Teacher Training in Yin Yoga, which I have found to be an equally important practice to find balance within, and without.


In my yoga classes I work at a slow, juicy pace, emphasizing awareness on mindful movement and the quality of breath within each asana.”
