Soundscape with Paul Boyter and Tracy Mathews
March 28 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pmR300
What is SoundScape?
A SoundScape session is a soothing meditative experience designed to settle the 3 known tensions – Physical tension, mental tension and emotion tension.
Participants are invited to lay on their backs on comfortable bedding that they them-selves have provided. Once settled Participants are guided through a series of relaxation techniques to further ground and settle physically, which leads gracefully into the musical journey performed live.
Participants can expect a restful neural experience ranging from a calm integrative alpha state to a deep dream like theta state. Remaining open and present to the imagery and sensations associated with the live sounds and frequencies can help guide individuals on a dream like journey, or it can be used as a tool to aid in shifting any physical or mental blockages. It’s also a great opportunity for positive visualization imprinting, beneficial for over-all wellbeing.
As facilitators of SoundScape our highest goal is to hold an authentic nurturing space, filled with soulful sounds.
SoundScape is guided by Paul Boyter & Tracey Mathews who together play a range of world instruments such as Hand-pan, Didgeridoo, Mono chord, Tibetan singing bowls and other percussive instruments.
